Mother's Thumb

The title of this article isn't an analogy or metaphor for anything. It's a condition I'm currently dealing with that is keeping me off the computer, and subsequently, off of this blog, more than I'd like. I'm going to keep this short because I have to. I have something called De Quervain's syndrome, commonly referred to as mother's thumb.

Well, I'm not a mother, nor do I ever expect to be. I actually developed this as an overuse injury because of how often I was teaching the Primal Movement PFE to clients throughout the day, which was bordering on 6-7x per day as I brought them up to speed. Now it hurts to type, move my thumb, or extend my wrist. Gotta take a little break from this to get it healed up!!

For those who follow this blog regularly, head over to breakingmuscle.com to check out my latest article(s). One was published last week, and another one is in the pipeline and will be out soon. Thanks for reading.
